The Arlington Handknitters Guild welcomes members and visitors from Arlington and the surrounding area.
The purpose of the AHKG is to provide education and to promote interest and skill in knitting and related fiber art crafts.

We have regular meetings once a month September-November and January-April. The meetings are the third Saturday of the month. At each meeting, a local teacher provides a program of about 45 minutes on a knitting topic.
We have banquets in December and May and informal knit-ins during the summer months. We also meet together monthly at a local coffee shop for "social knitting".
The guild hosts a national knitting teacher for 2-day workshops and a local teacher for 1-day workshops. We also host an annual knitting retreat at a retreat center.
Even though we meet in the Arlington area, we have members from all over the metroplex, from Denton, Collin, Tarrant, Dallas, and Ellis counties. All are welcome!
